Hayle and St Ives

January 10, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

I had a couple of cold wet walks this weekend, over Porth Kidney Sands at Hayle and around St Ives. The latter is a tourist hotspot in the summer months but early on a winter's morning it was deserted. I got properly wet and cold to the bone, but the dog was happy! It was a very low tide, the channel markers on the estuary were high and dry as were the boats in St Ives. I was glad I took my camera as I managed to get some good images; in fact the stormy weather really brought these shots to life I think.
